Missions
> Cuba: Hope supports a church in Cuba with pastoral salary and other needs there to join in Jesus' ministry to the ends of the earth.
> Cape Coral Caring Center is a mission partner. They provide food for those in need in our community. Please bring food items to the church and participate in Jesus’ mission to feed the hungry.
> Support for our troops. Throughout the year, we collect items for those defending our country as well as our veterans, providing them with support, prayer and letters.
> United Methodist Children's Home. On the 5th Sunday of each month we prepare an offering of generosity to this home that provides shelter and guidance to displaced and hurting children.
Events and Information
> Choir Practice is Monday nights at 6:30 pm. Anyone can join and make a joyful noise
> Bible Study: Bible studies are scheduled throughout the year to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
> Alcoholics Anonymous is for anyone who struggles with alcohol. AA meets at 6:30 pm every Friday. Hope is here for those who need support!
> Prayer Shawl Ministry: If you like to knit or crochet, you can help our sick, elderly or homebound community feel loved. Come and help make prayer shawls on the first and third Wednesdays of every month, and enter into Jesus’ mission of comforting those who need comfort.
> Interested in Membership, or Baptism? We schedule several gatherings throughout the year for those who would like to be baptized or join Hope Church. Contact Pastor Arlene for more info.
> Pot Luck Dinners: Everyone's got to eat, so once per month on Wednesday evening we gather for pot luck dinners. It's a great opportunity to get to know others in the church, break bread together, and to pray for one another.
Volunteer Ministries
> Tech Booth: Sound, lights, and video, we always are willing to train you!
> Music Ministry: Can you play or sing? There is a place for you here.
> Hospitality: Greeting, cooking, planning parties, decorating, your gifts are needed.
> Buildings: Anyone can help with keeping our buildings in good shape. Our thriving "Trustee" ministry welcomes your help.
> Prayer: The prayer team welcomes new prayer warriors to pray for those in need.
> Caring Ministry: Visiting the sick, writing cards for those in pain, and celebrating their joys are some of the ways you can help share the love of Jesus here. studies are scheduled throughout the year to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
